SPECIAL “PLEASURE” FOR
ALL FRIENDS OF THE NUSSECKE
According to legend, the nut corner was invented by master baker Wilhelmus Branntwein in 1700 during the siege of Nuremberg - he only had hazelnuts and flour in the bakery. Of course, the “Ur-Nussecke” has little resemblance to today’s specialties in our bakery.
We also share this love for the nutty classics - and are continuing to develop this cult pastry!
Cult pastries with a subtle caramel note
Our nut corner is a fine hazelnut pastry with two layers of nuts on butter shortcrust pastry. The first layer with a light cinnamon note and the taste of roasted nuts. The second with a subtle caramel note. A proportion of 28% selected hazelnuts, real high-quality chocolate couverture instead of simple fat icing and our special recipe offer real enjoyment for lovers of the nutty taste. Of course from the Bergische Mühlenbäckerei.
