About Julia Kuprat
Lisa Reiss (Founder & CEO) and Julia Kuprat (R&D Lead) at All But Sugar are leading the development of a breakthrough platform technology to imitate sugar without its downsides, earning international recognition including wins at the Global Sweet Swap Sugar Reduction Competition by Givaudan and Barry Callebaut in Singapore and the USWC in Denmark and China.
Lisa Reiss started the underlying research in 2021, founded All But Sugar in 2024, and scaled the technology to industrial scale in 2025 together with Julia Kuprat.
Reiss holds diplomas in Nutritional Science and International Business. She received the Merit Award of the Austrian Ministry of Education & Science twice, got repeatedly listed on the Dean’s List and received Honors by Department for outstanding academic performance.
Kuprat holds diplomas in Food Science and Food Technology and is responsible for integrating scientific research into the core of the platform technology, forming the basis for its functional output.
