The traditional Nuremberg company Wicklein is finally making Lebkuchen a year-round taste experience: Under the motto "Enjoyment is always in season", the Franconian pastry specialists are launching their new Mini Elisen "Every Day" in three delicious varieties. No matter whether with tender dark chocolate, fine whole milk chocolate or fine marzipan: The new Mini Elisen "Every Day" with a high proportion of nuts and almonds meet every taste - and are the ideal companion for coffee, tea or just a snack in between. Of course, baked according to a classic recipe and refined with chocolate made from 100 percent fairly traded cocoa beans, the Mini Elisen "Eyery Day" with their high-quality brand appearance represent a completely new premium range in the field of sweet pastries.
Wicklein actually takes up an ancient custom with the original product innovation: Originally, Nuremberg Lebkuchen was not only made for Christmas, but whenever there was something to celebrate: the exotic spices such as cinnamon, cardamom or allspice, the rare honey and the expensive nuts should illustrate the peculiarity of the respective occasion. Because of its good shelf life, the Lebkuchen also served the monks of the time as a nutritious monastery meal. Today, countless international Nuremberg tourists are delighted that the famous specialty can be sampled and bought all year round, for example in the Wicklein Flagship Store at the Main Market in Nuremberg.
Gottfried Wicklein GmbH was founded in 1615 and is one of the oldest Lebkuchen bakeries in the world. With its original Nuremberg Lebkuchen specialties, the company is the unchallenged market leader in food retail in Bavaria.
