About Christian Weiten
Born in 1970 and self-employed since 1991, Christian Weiten has been dedicated to healthy nutrition for decades. In 2010, he founded Xucker GmbH to make sugar-free sweet indulgence accessible to as many people as possible. As a pioneer, he played a key role in establishing the sweeteners xylitol and erythritol in Germany. Today, the Xucker brand offers a wide range of products, including fruit spreads, ketchup, chocolate, and other typically sugar-laden foods – all sweetened without added sugar. His goal for 2025 is to build strong partnerships with the industry to further expand variety and reach, making “sugar-free” a true mainstream choice.
