Windel – Sweet gifts for the people we love Windel GmbH & Co. KG is a family-run confectionery manufacturer based in Osnabrück, renowned for its creative and innovative gift items. Windel's tradition dates back to 1900 when Ludwig Windel founded the company as a regional wholesaler for confectionery and spirits. In the 1970s, Alfred Windel’s innovative idea of combining sweets with other items led to decades of dynamic growth, transforming Windel into a globally operating company with a unique profile. To this day, the USP of Windel GmbH & Co. KG remains the combination of sweets and toys to create inspiring gifts for both young and old. Seasonal items, particularly those for Christmas, are a major focus of Windel's product range. The brand is synonymous with items such as plush toys, gift tins, wooden toys, and much more. Among these, Advent calendars in various sizes and designs hold a special place in the Windel product world. Windel’s in-house product development team continuously delivers fresh ideas and innovative concepts, ensuring that customers can look forward to exciting new products every year. A large part of the production is still done by hand. Windel chocolate is exclusively produced at the same location by Farüchoc Chocolate Factory, which, like Windel GmbH & Co. KG, is part of the Windel Group. Since 1971, the founding year of ISM, Windel has been showcasing its vibrant product range at the confectionery trade fair. This year, the company looks forward to welcoming visitors to a brand-new booth.
