We, as EMD and thus one of the leading European buying alliances, attend the ISM regularly and traditionally. As Director Branded Products responsible for all international confectionery producers, I am also optimistic about the trade fair in 2021. We use the fair as a meeting point for the exchange of information between our members (German, Italian, Swedish, Russian, Spanish, Dutch, Greek TOP trading companies) as well as for observing trends and new products. Discussions with confectionery producers at the stand are also an integral part of the fair.
Of course the current situation around the Covid 19 virus has some risks, I am aware of that and will adjust my members to it. Nevertheless, I trust in the professionalism of Koelnmesse to take appropriate and effective precautions. Therefore it means a lot to me to visit the ISM also in 2021 and to encourage this readiness also within the EMD members.
