Legast bean-to-bar chocolates are made with artisan care, tracing rare and fine cacao (only 5% of world’s cacao) where beans first grew and developed fine aromas: Latin America. In direct partnership with local farmers, we rescue the most delicious natural flavors from our selected beans to make balanced chocolates with delicious natural notes of fruits, citric, nuts, caramel, spices, wood, and others.
Our special character bars (plain or with inclusions, from 50% to 90% cocoa) have been constantly awarded in the 2 most important world bean to bar competitions (AoC and ICA), obtaining Best Bar of the European competition in our first entrance to the International Chocolate Awards. Ever since, we have stood as the outstanding Belgian chocolatier in the creation of bars made from beans.
Our chocolates are 100% artisanal and natural. Our bars contain only cared for cacao and a bit of sugar. Our bonbons combine this great bean-to-bar chocolate with quality Bio ingredients for great Belgian recipes or other tasty creations. They are the inspiration of our young chocolatier and pastry chef, that with a 16- year experience in the transformation of chocolate and a career in design, creates chic and natural recipes, with a touch of design. This goes also for our packaging.
We do not add artificial flavors, nor preservatives, nor use GMO, and our Direct Trade with farmers (without middlemen) guarantees them a high price that helps them maintain their living conditions and respect for biodiversity.
