Purchasing tickets – here’s how

You can buy your admission ticket at your convenience in the ticket shop starting beginning of November.

After payment, your ticket is sent to you in the form of an e-ticket per e-mail during the course of the day. The proof of purchase will be sent to you by post.

Please print out the e-ticket (in original size, black/white) and bring it with you to the trade fair. You save yourself from having to queue at the ticket office and register at the event.

Please note that e-tickets are personalised and thus cannot be transferred. For a return/exchange of the e-ticket, the right of withdrawl applies in accordance with Section 7 of our General Terms an Conditions.

Payment options
In the online shop, you can pay only by credit card.

Redeeming Business Tickets
First register in the Ticket Shop. In the column on the left-hand side, you will find the function “Redeem Business Ticket”. Enter the code printed on the Business Ticket in the corresponding field.
Please note that Business Tickets are not valid at the entrance bust must be redeemed into a ticket in the Ticket Shop.

What you should also know
With the e-ticket, you can use all types of public transport in Cologne
and the Rhein Sieg Region ( VRS) free of charge. Don’t forget - this is valid only together with your ID card.

Day tickets get invalid when leaving ISM. Tickets valid for more than one day will also get invalid leaving ISM on Wednesday, Feb. 1st.

There are no suitcases allowed at any day at ISM.

Visa
If you are travelling to our fair from a country whose citizens require a visa for Germany you will need an official letter from Koelnmesse. In order for us to formulate this letter as precisely as possible, you must provide us with various details.
Please complete all of the points listed. We will then send you the official letter by fax and will also forward a copy to the nearest German consulate in your country. Would you please inquire about the entry requirements applying to you (e.g. visa requirement) in good time before you come to the event. Would you also please carry out the necessary formalities yourself. Koelnmesse will accept no responsibility if you do not receive a visa or do not receive it on time, or if you are unable to travel to the event due to other reasons. Visa Support for visitors
