Coffee has been an integral part of the trade fair concept since 2015 and is now even being covered with its own special show in hall 5.2, the Cologne Coffee Forum. Different exhibitors showed the broad range of coffee. In addition, visitors could take part at Espresso seminars and coffee Pairings.

During a festive gala evening on 28 January 2018 the ISM Award was presented for the fifth time. This year’s award went to Dylan Lauren for her innovative concept „Dylan’s Candy Store“.

In line with the motto „Sweet Future", a group of international design students at the Köln International School of Design (KISD) designed a broad range of new product concepts and product packaging. These innovations, which generate inspiration and new momentum, would shown exclusively to the trade visitors at ISM.
You could find this special show between the halls 4 and 5.
Innova Market Insights presented at the center boulevard in front of hall 5 the special show Sweet Trends at ISM 2017, highlighting key trends and current developments in sweets and snacks.
Moreover, three times a day Innova Market Insights hold their trend presentations at the Expert Stage.
